Welcome

Gibraltar Park Estate is nestled in the hills bordering the pretty country village of Leyburn Qld Australia.  It is home to ‘Between Two Rocks’, the family owned and run wine label.  They say a grape can grow anywhere, even between two rocks, which is exactly what the Dowdle family did when they chose their trap rock country to bring their dream alive.  The first vines where planted in 2005 and plan to still be going strong in 2105. The grapes are grown with hard work and determination and hand picked by family and friends.  Enjoy!

At Gibraltar Park we are proud to grow from vine to wine.  Unlike many wineries and wine labels today, the wine you drink from our wine label 'Between Two Rocks' is 100% grown on farm.

We are also proud to support  many charities and welcome requests for support.

Making A Day of it!

The 60's and Better group from the Inglewood Texas area made the most of Remembrance Day when they visited Leyburn. The group attended the Remembrance Service at the local RSL museum, from there they were the first bus to tour Gibraltar Park Vineyard, then they moved onto Leyburn's Historic Royal Hotel.  The group partook in a 'Between Two Rocks' wine tasting in the Beer Garden before enjoying a wonderful lunch in the dining room. The happy lot were personally welcomed by Shane Webcke, local proud hotel owner and National Football Identity.  The day was topped off with a chat and autographs.

Our 2011 wine menu is now available and we are very excited.  This year's wine maker, Peter Orr from Felsberg Winery Glen Aplin, has produced a wonderful drop from our great home grown grapes!

As we count down to the 2012 vintage we are very impressed with the growth and well being of the vines.  This year is stacking up to be our best so far.
